Exhibition presenting works from the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. With important works by Bonnard and Matisse representing the early years, the exhibition focuses on 4 artists: Miró, Calder, Giacometti and Braque, and will show their paintings, sculptures, lithographs and illustrated books. The story of the birth of the Galerie Maeght in post 2nd world war Paris, and the friendships between the Maeght family and their artists will also be shown through sketches, letters, photographs, and films.
SH Architects developed the concept of the exhibition with the Royal Academy curators, and designed the installation. |
