Sophie Hicks Architects’ office is situated in a 19th century brick building in a cobbled mews in Notting Hill. Originally stables, then a warehouse, we redesigned the property and completed a major refurbishment in 2005. The atmosphere that comes from the age and history of the building has influenced the contemporary alterations. We added a glazed top storey, enlarged the windows and added balconies.
